Mediterranean cooking course

The variety of different products together with its natural beauties, rich tradition of ischitan recipes, as well as famous Mediterranean cuisine, all these make the island of Ischia the ideal place for a gastronomic courses or individual cooking master-classes.
We invite you to participate in our Prestige cooking courses and to gain an experience from one of the most famous chefs on the island – Nicola Ellia, who will not only share with you some cooking secrets of preparing particular dishes, but also will give you some good advices about the food, how and what kind of food to eat. After the cooking master –classes course all the guests will taste their prepared dishes together with a good Italian wine….


CULINARY SCHOOL IN ISCHIA

Duration: : 8 days/7 nights

PROGRAM
1-ST DAY Saturday
ISCHIA. Transfer from NAPLES AIRPORT/ TRAIN STATION – to the HOTEL in ISCHIA. Hotel’s accommodation on your choice. Dinner (only for guests in HB basis)
2-ND DAY Sunday
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for thermal treatments at the hotel. Dinner (only for guests in HB basis).
3-RD DAY Monday
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 11 am transfer to the restaurant – the place, where the cooking course takes place.
1-st Lesson. Introductory course about the correct use of vegetables in cooking.
2-nd Lesson. Preparation of parmigiana di melanzane.
3-rd Lesson. Preparation of casserole with pasta and vegetables.
Tasting of prepared dishes.
After lunch – Sightseeing island tour with the tour guide. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner (only for guests in HB basis).
4-th DAY Tuesday
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 11 am transfer to the restaurant – the place, where the cooking course takes place.
4-th Lesson. Introductory course about preparation of real Italian pasta
5-th Lesson. Preparation of spaghetti in lemon cream sauce.
Lunch and tasting of prepared dishes.
After lunch – visit of thermal hot spring of Sorgeto (the hot springs, spouting up from the sea) in Sant`Angelo area (for additional fee) transfer to the hotel. Dinner (only for guests in HB basis).
5-th DAY Wednesday
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 11 am transfer to the restaurant – the place, where the cooking course takes place.
6-th Lesson. Introductory course about the preparation of real Neapolitan pizza.
7-th Lesson. Preparation of pizza Margheritta
8-th Lesson. Preparation of Italian “calzone”.
Lunch and tasting of prepared dishes.
After lunch – visit of the ancient Aragonese Castle, which is fraught of its own history and mystery, (for additional payment)transfer to the hotel. Dinner (only for guests in HB basis)
6–th DAY Thursday
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 11 am transfer to the restaurant – the place, where the cooking course takes place.
9-th Lesson. Introductory course about the preparation of seafood products.
10-th Lesson. Preparation of a mussels soup.
11-th Lesson. Preparation of risotto with seafood.
Lunch and tasting of prepared dishes.
Transfer to the hotel. Dinner (only for guests in HB basis)
7-th DAY Friday
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 11 am transfer to the restaurant – the place, where the course takes place.
12-th Lesson. Introductory course about the preparation of different cookies and sweets.
13-th Lesson. Preparation of “Tiramisu”.
14-th Lesson. Preparation of real Italian espresso.
Tasting of prepared dishes.
After lunch – the receiving of diplomas and certificates of completion the Italian cuisine course with the memorable signature of the chef. Transfer to the hotel. Some free time. Dinner (only for guests in HB basis)
8-th Day Saturday
NAPLES.Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport/train station of Naples.
